Emory

Adopted October 2009

We adopted Emory into our family in October 2009.

Matilda who is only six months old welcomed him with open paws.  She was very lonely since we recently lost our beloved Cleo who was 13 years old.  Let me give you a little history on Matilda.  She showed up in our backyard at the end of August for a family barbecue.  She was hungry, skinny and in need of some TLC.  We fell in love with her immediately.  We took her to the Cat Clinic the next day and found out quickly that we would be able to adopt her.  After spending a couple days at the Cat Clinic with an infection, fleas, ear mites and dehydration we were able to bring her home.  We have fallen head over heals in love with Matilda...she is the most affectionate cat we have come to know.  We spent a lot of money saving our Matilda and she's worth every cent.

After spending a lot of money on Matilda, we thankfully found Emory through the Animal Welfare Association for a very affordable cost.

Matilda is very happy to have a companion again.  Emory and Matilda are constantly playing together, eating together, sleeping together, laying in the window together.  They both greet us at the door when we get home from work.

A deep heart-felt thanks to the Animal Welfare Association.  Our family is now complete!

Here's a few pictures of Emory (black and white) and Matilda (all black).
