Hi Animal Welfare,

I just wanted to send you a letter and photos to let you know how Annie, Naomi, Pebbles and Bam-Bam are doing.  I adopted sisters Annie and Naomi in 2001 and as you can see they have grown into beautiful cats, now eight years old.  When they were about six, a new addition came to the family in the form of a barn cat which they welcomed into their lives with open paws, her name was Pebbles.  Pebbles was very sick when I first brought her home, I had rescued her from a horse barn where I was working, all her siblings had died and she fought so hard to stay alive and today you would never know that she came from a barn.  Then just when I thought I was done taking in cats, along came Bam-Bam (grey cat, big paws) who was abandoned near my sister's home [and adopted him through AWA], I couldn't say no!  All the girls have accepted him just fine, especially Pebbles.  She has a new play friend because I think Annie and Naomi, being older, couldn't take her bugging them anymore.  I'm just so glad to have them all in my life because they are always there when I come home from work no matter what time of day and they are always there first thing in the morning looking for their treats and all they could ask for is unconditional love and a warm home to sleep.

Thank you again

Lori
