A man who worked at a concrete company in Stoney Creek called us about a friendly little mother cat that he and some of the other workers had befriended.  She had been coming around for food for quite some time and had given birth to 3 kittens on the work site.  They were feeding and looking after the little family but began to worry that the kittens would soon be mobile and might get run over by one of the trucks or fork-lifts that were constantly driving around.  Fortunately we had a foster home available and were able to take Glenna and her 3 kittens into our care.  The kittens (all boys - Benjamin, Dwayne and Clinton) have now been adopted and Glenna has now been spayed and is enjoying a break from her mothering duties.  She won't ever have to struggle to find food and shelter for herself or raise a litter in such difficult conditions again.  All Glenna needs now is a loving home where she can be pampered and she promises to show her new owners how grateful she is to be chosen.  If you would like to choose Glenna to be your special feline friend, please call one of our volunteers.
