ASHLEIGH
female/spayed
short-hair
grey
about 2 years old
A kind lady in the
east central part of Hamilton had been watching this darling little cat
on her street for several weeks. She wondered if she belonged to
someone but, as she was outside in all sorts of bad weather and came to
her porch for food and shelter, this didn't seem likely. However,
she made inquiries in the neighbourhood and placed an ad in the
paper. When she was certain that Ashleigh was indeed homeless and
knowing that she was female and likely to become pregnant, she decided
to act quickly and contacted AWA for help. Now that she is in our
care, this sweet little girl has been vaccinated and spayed and is
waiting for someone to offer her a loving home. She would
probably be best in a home with no small children as she can sometimes
be a bit temperamental. She wants to be friendly, but on her
terms and will make it clear if she doesn't want to be bothered.
